When: On weekends from 18 MAY – 1 OCT 2024
Where: Jane Haining Quay between Elisabeth Bridge and Chain Bridge
On May 18, the Viadukt Terrace has opened its second season on the lower Pest embankment between the Chain Bridge and the Elizabeth Bridge.
We introduced the Viadukt in details in our last year’s entry. If you missed it, you can check it out here. Available on weekends, when this section of the quay is closed off from traffic. This is also a great opportunity to visit our company at Dock 11 where you can rest a bit after the numerous events.
The uniqueness of the Viaduct Terrace lies not only in its panoramic location but also in its 80-meter-long, cool interior space that runs beneath the line of tram 2. Behind its ornate green gate, the space, which previously served as a warehouse and later as a restaurant, reveals a unique, industrial-style environment where art and contemporary culture play a central role.
The organizers have planned joint yoga and meditation sessions, and there will be plenty of activities for children as well such as workshops, and puppet shows. In the evenings, varied and high-quality musical events await everyone who enjoys the unique atmosphere of the Danube shore. In addition to sustainable hospitality, it is particularly important that the affordable refreshments are made from quality ingredients, the alcoholic beverages come from renowned producers, and there is a wide selection of domestic craft beers to choose from.
